Lupton Series for Boys (1899-1900)
This short lived 58 title series reprinted a number of boy's books by
famous authors. In addition to Reid, Oliver Optic and Jacob Abbott
books were in this series. The books are hard cover and 12 mo.
This series included The Lone Ranch as well as The Scalp Hunters and The Rifle Rangers.

Windsor Series (1897-1901)
This series of hardcover 12 mo. books include reprints of fiction from many authors including Mayne Reid.
In 1897 Lone Ranch was part of this series. The Rifle Rangers and The
Scalp Hunters were added to the series in 1900. The cover formats for
each year is different.
